Take any of the speaker outputs from this old stereo and wire them, (touch them), to either pair of these wires going into the amp. Unit to the amp, the wires for the left rear speaker is DG/DB(+), and DG/OR(-), or right rear speaker is GY/OR(-), and GY/DB(+). If you do, you can either pull the head unit, or get at the input wiring to the amp, whichever is easiest. You could power it up from some 12v circuit in the truck, or a battery charger.According to the Service Manual Wiring diagram, from the head Do you have any old stereo laying around, you could power up for a temporary test? It might be good to have any old speaker to test the old stereo, before going ahead with this test.
